Transferring Credits – Undergraduate Programs

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements make it easier to transfer credits between educational institutions. ·ºÑǵ羺 has partnered with community colleges and associate degree institutions to provide enhanced educational opportunities. These agreements guarantee admission into our bachelor’s programs and acknowledge all credits from associate degree programs at partner schools.

Any additional credits earned above and beyond the associate degree are subject to program distribution requirements.

Northeast Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (NECCUM)

·ºÑǵ羺 is a member of NECCUM, a consortium of 11 nearby colleges and universities. This partnership enriches the experience for students, faculty and staff through joint programs. Members can take courses and use the libraries across all NECCUM institutions.

With NECCUM, you can:

• Take a course and use the library at one of 11 private and public colleges in the region
• Pay your school's tuition (fees for class-related materials are paid to the institution where you take the course)
• Automatically receive grades and credits which become part of your record

Is there a class you are interested in taking that ·ºÑǵ羺 doesn’t offer or that doesn’t fit in with your schedule? Check out your options through NECCUM partner schools. You can take courses at 11 colleges while studying at ·ºÑǵ羺. Contact your advisor to learn more.

Eligibility Requirements

To take advantage of the courses and libraries at NECCUM schools, students must meet the following guidelines:

• Must have completed at least 12 credits at ·ºÑǵ羺 and have a 2.0 GPA
• Must be in a major/program
• Must be full-time between both colleges
• Must be registered in at least two courses at ·ºÑǵ羺 during the NECCUM semester
• Only allowed to take up to two courses each semester at the host college (NECC, Merrimack and North Shore, etc.)
• Must meet all prerequisite requirements for NECCUM courses
• Must complete the NECCUM Registration Form with an advisor based in Boston, Lawrence or Springfield campuses
• First-semester students are excluded from participating in NECCUM

Do you need a course that ·ºÑǵ羺 offers? If your college is part of the NECCUM Partnership, you can take it here.

Choose from our campus in Boston, Massachusetts; Guaynabo, Puerto Rico or take classes online. Our diverse campuses, with experienced faculty, cater to working adults. Evening, weekend, hybrid and online classes are available every term.
